Insurance
- Included in the cost of the holiday is fully
comprehensive travel and holiday insurance with
wintersports cover included. At the current
time our preferred insurance supplier is Endsleigh
Insurance Services Limited. A copy of the policy
is available in pdf format and printed copies
will be issued, on request, to party leaders
prior to departure. It is your responsibility
to ensure that in the event of a possible claim
all procedures as required under the policy
are met. It is your or your group members responsibility
to contact the insurance company in the event
of a claim. We strongly recommend that each
of your group has an EU Health Insurance Card.

Bonding -

Party Size and Free Places
- The holiday
price is based on a 'standard booking' of forty paying places. The 'standard
booking' would comprise forty pupils and five staff. Other group sizes
are available on negotiation.
Lift Passes
- The lift pass for both
students and adults in the 'standard booking' is included in the price.
Passports and Visas
- British citizens
will require a valid passport. Visa requirements for non-British citizens
must be complied with and are the responsibility of the party leader.
Health Requirements - The party leader
is responsible for ensuring all members of the party are fit to travel.

Coaches - All groups will be collected
from their school or college and returned to the same point. TGM Snowsports
operates only high specification coaches and the coach operators must
adhere to the strict safety regulations regarding Drivers' hours as
laid down by the DOT. They will be courteous and cooperative. All coaches
will be equipped with - toilet / wash-hand basin, video, stereo and
PA system, reclining seats with seat belts and a drinks machine. Coaches
will, where necessary, carry snow chains. Coaches have full breakdown
cover and international rescue for both the vehicle and occupants.
Ferries and The Channel Tunnel
- The
cost is included.
Practice - To maximize your enjoyment
TGM Snowsports recommend that all groups visit a slope, (dry or artificial)
prior to the holiday.
Accommodation - Will be a quality
hotel ideally suited to School and College groups. Rooms vary from two
to six persons sharing. Towels and toiletries may not be provided and
you are advised to bring your own.
Meals
- The following meals will be
provided: Continental Breakfast - bread, butter, preserves, tea &
coffee; Packed Lunch, Evening Dinner - three course hot meal.
Equipment & Lessons - Skis, Boots
& Poles, Boards & Boots are provided. Instruction will be for
a minimum four hours per day for five days plus a half-day instruction
mid-week, subject to conditions. We will use our SASL qualified ski
leaders and local ski schools.
Snowsport Awards - We will hold a
presentation evening at the end of the holiday and award certificates
of achievement to each participant.
Evening Entertainment
- The holiday
includes evening entertainment, which may consist of swimming, disco,
quiz-night, bowling, etc. A small fee may be charged depending upon
the venue e.g €2 to €5 per person.
Problems
- We request that the Party
Leader advises our staff immediately of any problem or complaint whilst
on the holiday. We will endeavour to resolve the problem in an expedient
manner.
Terms & Conditions
- A full copy
of our booking terms and conditions and a sample insurance document
will be sent to you on booking.
Payment
- Payment details
will be available for your specific holiday
on our detailed holiday information sheets.
Surcharges
- On holidays priced
for 40 paying passengers surcharges will be
applied if numbers reduce to 36 or below.
Snowboarding
Surcharges -
Snowboarding equipment - boards and boots -
which are included within our
packages cost around 50% more to hire than skis
and boots. Snowboarding is also only operated
in groups of 8 or less as opposed to skiing
which is in groups of 12 or less. Instruction
therefore is more expensive for snowboarders.
Accordingly all our holidays now attract a £50
per person snowboard surcharge. This keeps the
price lower for our skiing clients.
